Mr. Filion’s spent his entire professional career with Hydro Quebec one of the largest electrical energy producer in the world, where he held various management positions: Chief Operating Officer, CEO of TransEnergie, Hydro Quebec’s distribution division, President Hydro-Quebec International and Chairman of the Board of Transelec in Chile, former President CIGRE-Paris (International Council on Large Electric Systems with 90 member countries worldwide) and project manager for major infrastructure power projects in Quebec and abroad. He is Chairman of the Board of Innoventé (Canada), a biomass energy producer, member of the board – Montreal Port Authority and member of the board – Montreal Airports Authority. Mr. Filion is an invited senior coach at Laval University (Quebec)’s Corporate Governance Institute. He periodically leads consulting teams undertaking feasibility and advisory services projects in Quebec and Africa.
