Since 1997, Pierre Brochu has lead many Canadian corporations in the technology and telecommunication sectors. He has been senior vice-president at CGI, a world leader in information technology, president and chief executive officer of Radical Horizon, a company evolving in the software designed radio (SDR) and managing director at Gestion Xit, a company that develops, constructs, commercializes and maintains telecommunication networks for high speed internet and IP telephony in areas poorly served. From 1992 to 2003, Pierre Brochu has occupied managing functions within BCE. In 1997, he was appointed president and chief operating officer of Telebec, a subsidiary of Bell Canada, then became president and chief executive officer in 1998. In 2001, he was president and chief executive officer of Connexim, a joint venture company between Bell Canada, Hydro-Quebec and Desjardins which managed outsourced telecommunication networks.
